1:00 PM - Departing from Library Community Rooms (limited to 25 registered attendees)

This leisurely tour will include all of the ‘Park Avenue block’ houses that Earl Young, Charlevoix’s world-renowned master builder in stone, created in 1919-1921, then between 1938 to 1954 during the second phase of his career. It takes approximately 90 minutes, providing plenty of time for photographing and questions. The tour ends with a walk down to Hoffman Park on lower Park Avenue for a stunning view of Young’s masterpiece, the Weathervane Inn.

The Friends of the Charlevoix Public Library, with the generous support of Lynne and Mason Rosenthal present: Fall 2023 Lifelong Learning Program. The Lifelong Learning Program was initiated in 2016 as a means of providing an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of topics and issues of broad interest that may impact us all.
