Mahjong is a tile-based game that's similar to poker and rummy, and involves matching tiles to form sets and pairs. To learn more or play the game, drop in to the Coeling Activity Room on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 1:00 - 4:00pm.

Bob Downes will trace the heroic efforts of Native Americans to retain their homeland through centuries of warfare, exploitation, and legal wrangling, including all five of the major treaties signed in Michigan.

Anyone interested in knitting, please feel free to join the Knitting Group which meets weekly: Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 pm in the Trustees Conference Room. All ideas and skill levels are welcome! Led by Lynne Herrmann. 

Parents and caregivers and their children are invited to gather in the Youth Activity Center for casual, free play for kids ages birth to 6 years old.

Join us on Thursdays for Storytime at the library! Gather with new friends as we read fun stories, sing, dance, and have tons of fun! Recommended for ages 0-6.

Whether you have been playing for years or you're brand new to the game, the library is the perfect place to get together and play Dungeons and Dragons with other fans!

Are you a film enthusiast? The Charlevoix Film Club will meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 5pm in Community Room B. They will screen a movie at 5pm and have a lively discussion afterwards! All are welcome. Led by Colin Morris.

Anyone interested in sewing and conversation, please join the newly formed Sewing Group. Open to the public as a drop in community sewing group. All are welcome! 

Macrame Plant Hangers: Join Dawn Guthre for a beginner macrame class. She will be teaching participants to make their own small hanging planters to take home.

Reading to a therapy dog is a great way to practice your reading skills while spending time with an adorable pup! Kids can practice reading to Gemme, a sweet Golden Retriever therapy dog, and her owner Karen in the Youth Department.

Mac computer users who meet twice per month to discuss tips, problem-solving, and special topics: First and Third Mondays from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Trustees Conference Room. Led by Wes Andersen.
