Join us for a conversation about why some current farming practices endanger our health, our planet, and our ability to continue to produce food. Dr. Sue Holcombe, a retired large animal veterinarian and professor from Michigan State University and Koffi Kpachavi, Executive Director of the Grand Traverse Conservation District will describe how regenerative agriculture benefits soil health, creates resilient farms that are more tolerant of draughts and storms, produces more nutritious food, and reduces production of green house gases that contribute to the warming planet. We will engage with local farmers and learn how we can all help to Regenerate America!
