Many people have had a dream of giving up the drudgery of everyday life and setting off on a fantastic adventure. After serving 7 years in the Army and working for 28 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Larry Walsh stepped away from corporate life and cycled into the heart of America to fulfill a lifelong dream. But Walsh didn’t stop there. He also entered the 4,200-mile TransAmerica Bike Race from Oregon to Virginia. Join us to hear Walsh share his story of self-discovery and resolve, and his experience writing his first book, Suit to Saddle: Cycling to Self-Discovery on the Southern Tier, in which he recounts his 3,120-mile ride from southern California to Florida in 2018.
