Adult Program: Author Mary Doria Russell's "The Women of the Copper Country" Historically Illuminated

Trevor Dotson, Manage of Operations for the Charlevoix Historical Society, will discuss some of the historical realities fictionalized in Mary Doria Russell's novel The Women of the Copper Country, the Michigan Humanities Council 2021-2022 Great Michigan Read. Regardless of whether you participate in the Great Read (although we think you should!), everyone will come away with a deeper understanding of the 1913 Copper strike in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula.
