Event Details

Learn about raptors with James Manley, Executive Director of Skegemog Raptor Center of Traverse City. This program will be held at the Charlevoix Public Library. Observe artifacts and meet the education team of ambassador birds, Pearl, a Red-tailed Hawk, Esther, a Broad-winged Hawk, and an American Kestrel. This interactive presentation about birds of prey will discuss the conservation efforts to protect raptors, their habitats, and the welfare of these birds in our local environment.

Registration for this event is requested so we have an idea of how many people to expect, but it is not required. You may come to this event without registering.

Program will be held outdoors at the Charlevoix Public Library in Gramma Geri's Children's Garden. In the event of inclement weather, we will move indoors.
