Are you up for the challenge to find a Charlevoix Stone? How about a Petoskey Stone? Learn the difference between common rocks and fossils found in Northern Michigan. Meet at the library to learn identification tips and receive a Michigan Rocks book. Library staff will take you on a guided walk to Michigan Beach, where you just might find some area specific stones, rocks, or fossils.
