Purpose of Meeting

The 2022 Margaret Duerr Award will be presented to John and Sue Dixon. John and Sue have been outstanding Charlevoix citizens for over 50 years and are well known in the community for their selfless volunteerism for over forty years. They both have served the Charlevoix Public Library in various capacities, just one of the many branches of their community involvement.

Our speaker, Randy Evans, holds a Ph.D. in psychology and is the author of The Voluntary Servant, his latest book. As a leader and motivator in the corporate world, he has supported a wide range of community and volunteer projects.

The Margaret Duerr Award was established in 2003 in recognition of Margaret’s longtime service to the library and its Michigan Room.
