Purpose of Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is to provide farm safety training to area farmers and those with an interest in farming. Intended topics are Farm Mental Health, Tractor/PTO safety, ergonomics, preventing secondary injury, chronic pain management, fire department need-to-knows for responding to a farm fire. We intend to invite the public, farm bureau members from Charlevoix, Emmet, Cheboygan, Otsego, and Antrim counties as well as heavily advertise to the public. Instructors will be from MSU Extension and local Emergency responders.
