Renowned journalist, Emmy award-winning author, longtime voice on Michigan Radio, and part-time Charlevoix resident Jack Lessenberry will discuss the life of Michigan judge Avern Cohn as written about in Lessenberry's book, Thinking About the Other Fella. Cohn spent 40 years on the bench in Michigan's Eastern District, during which time he ruled on landmark cases from topics as diverse as the First Amendment and the Internet, to a patent case so nationally famous it was made into a major movie.
